Meetings Notes - April 9, 2008
Hi everyone, Well, it looks like a nice weekend ahead. The meeting went well. I would like to thank everyone who attended the meeting. It is always pleasurable to see all of you laugh and come together as the great club and team that you have become. Jim couldn't make it because of a relapse of the flu, do get better kid, we miss you not being there. Stan and Graham showed up, although Stans silver Bonnie was safely tucked away for the ride coming up. Victor arrived with Jean -Luc not far behind. Roy and Semone (Roy sorry if I butchered her name) (Simona sic) commented on how good Jean-Luc's bike looked since Victor cleaned it at the Clubman show. Roy suggested that Victor should have the job in the club of cleaning bikes. Victor wasn't too sure about that one. :-) Sue showed up on her silver Bonnie, Oh oh, looks like we have twins here. As we gathered around oh humming about up coming things, I once again wanted to say that Jean-Luc and Charles have done an outstanding job on taking pictures our of rides and events. The Rocket III rally is coming in July and us who do not own Rockets, can be escorted by Roy, if we wish to go. It is in Lake Tahoe. I would think it would be a nice venture. There is also the Chili Cook off ride that the BSA club is putting on in August I believe. That is a wonderful ride and it goes up to the sierra foot hills I believe. We will keep you posted on that one. Our ride this weekend will be led by Sue. We will meet at the shop at 10am. She will lead us south towards Metcalf park. We will stop for lunch. If you would like me to have pastries and coffee and orange juice let me know. So.... all of you that have your Triumphs in mothballs shake them off and bring on the ride. BEAUTIFUL day in the neighborhood for a ride with the RAT Pack!
